Dr. Nathan Kindstrand
Dr. Nathan Kindstrand, PT, DPT, OCS, ATC, CSCS is a Fullerton native attending Fullerton Union High School as a multi-sport athlete where he played a combined 10 seasons of baseball, basketball and football. Following high school, Nathan continued his baseball career at Mount San Antonio College and Fullerton College before transferring to East Central University in Oklahoma on a baseball scholarship. With a passion for athletics and sports medicine Nathan completed a Bachelors degree in Athletic Training and received the 2012 Athletic Trainer of the Year Award before moving on to complete an Athletic Training internship with the Indianapolis Colts professional football team. In 2013 Nathan began his studies at the University of Southern California in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
While working on his degree Nathan gained certification through the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in order to further his knowledge of high level return to sport progressions and fitness programming. Additionally, while in school he worked for the University of Southern California as an Athletic Trainer in the Club Sports Department where he managed athletes from 56 club sports teams. During his time at the University of Southern California Nathan trained under leading researchers in shoulder pathology and overhead athletes, participated in clinical research for Major League Baseball and worked with professional athletes from the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, USA Volleyball, WTA and NCAA.
